ONE WILD ISLAND
Every summer we migrate to a small island in the middle of Uyak Bay, Alaska, following the path of the salmon. As kids, we played with the fish while our parents worked the nets. As we grew, we learned how to pick fish and pull lines, drive the skiff and weather storms. Now, our three boys are 4th generation fishermen, learning about our relationship to the fish and the ocean around them from us and their grandparents. We work hard to care for the water and land that sustain us in the hopes that it will continue to provide incredible wild fish for generations to come.
